About Us

CDCC is a consultancy created in 2008 by William Culver-Dodds. William is an expert in the cultural sector working with heritage and culture organisations and venues on range strategic planning, feasibility and options appraisals. He previously spent 15 years working at the coal-face as Chief Executive of Harrogate International Festivals where he transformed the organisation from a stand-alone summer music event into a year-round cultural powerhouse.

William brings a real empathy with heritage and culture organisations and insightful understanding of their operating environments, working with clients to understand their objectives and share our knowledge to deliver practical solutions.  In addition to offering experience of strategic planning and reviews, feasibility studies and options appraisals for arts and heritage organisations and venues, we bring particular expertise in cultural activity funding and helping organisations to present their potential to funders in the most advantageous way.
